The NDIS Workforce Capability Framework (Framework) is continuing its phased roll-out with the release of 5 new tools available to the public for beta testing from July to October 2022.
What is the NDIS Workforce Capability Framework?
The Framework is designed for anyone that needs to understand, direct or participate in NDIS work.
It includes a range of tools and guidance that describes the attitudes, skills and knowledge expected of all workers funded under the NDIS. It gives clear, practical examples and establishes a shared language of ‘what good looks like’ for participants when they receive NDIS services and support.
What are the new tools available?
The following five new tools were released for Public Beta testing on 15 July 2022 for a period of three months to allow for further stakeholder testing and feedback:
- Workforce Management & Planning Tool
- Position Description Builder
- Recruitment & Selection Guide
- Self-Assessment Tool, and
- Career Options Guide.
How can I access the tools?
The five tools are accessible on the Framework website, with downloadable Word or PDF versions also available.
The Framework team encourage providers to try them out and submit any feedback by 14 October 2022.
